Just a few short weeks ago we hosted our second annual Winter Wreath Workshop. The workshop was once again held here at our Cold Spring Harbor boutique which we completely transfomed into a creative Winter Wonderland. Anyone that has been to our shop before knows how limited our space is…lets be honest it’s a little small…but we love how quaint and intimate of a setting it can be for a workshop. The limited space allows us to work very closely with each attendee to help them create their own Winter Wreath.
The workshop focused on using natural Winter elements such as lush evergreens, pine cones, berries and eucalyptus pods. Each of the attandees were also given a selection of vintage velvet ribbons to choose from. There is something so cozy and lush about the texture of velvet that it has become our go-to ribbon for adorning Winter Wreaths!
As always time flyies during the holiday season so it was wonderful to take a break from the hustle and bustle to do something fun and creative. We got messy, had some good laughs, listened to holiday music, and munched on festive nibbles and wine. The part we enjoyed the most was watching everyone’s individual personality come out through their beautiful designs.
The wonderfully talented Cadence Kennedy beautifully captured the day and we are so excited to share a glimpse with you.
On another note: The level of enthusiasim for our workshops has been incredible so we have decided to offer even more dates and more workshops for 2017. We have some exciting announcements to share after the New Year so stay tuned!
