From the beginning Kristen mentioned she really loved peach tones (which I immediately became super excited about – more peach weddings please!). From there we balanced the vibrancy of the peach with soft shades of cream, champagne, and blush. We used fluffy peonies and garden roses along with ranunculus, campanula, blushing bride protea (one of Kristen’s favorites!) and sweet accents of chamomile.
Kristen’s beautiful Mira Zwillinger was another source of inspiration. The floral appliqué reminded me of feminine sweet heart roses so we incorporated them in her bouquet and throughout the rest of the floral decor.
The reception was held under a Sperry Tent at Kontokosta Winery. I loved the idea of incorporating seasonal fruit to the reception tables. It was a detail that helped tie in the winery to the tented reception space.
The day was beautiful, warm and sunny – a true Summer, North Fork wedding.
