When it comes to neutral palettes, I love to incorporate unexpected details to add interest to a design. With thoughtful intention, classic whites can become intriguing through earthy accent colors, texture, fruits, and other natural elements.
It was a dream when Christie expressed interest in creating a floral palette that was white but full of airy texture. She let me run with it, put my own twist on the design, and trusted me to bring her modern vision to life. Minimal foliage allowed for a bright and textural aesthetic to be the main focus from the bouquets to the reception table compositions. Layers of smaller blooms (dahlias, sweet pea, ranunculus, and freesia) added a balance of freshness against the dried/bleached branches used. Lastly, we took the palette a step further by using matte white ceramic bowls. I absolutely loved this modern take on a classic palette.
Below you will see a collection of imagery from Dyanna Lamora. Special thanks to Dyanna for beautifully capturing all the details from Christie and Dave’s wedding at Wölffer Estate.
